Carthage, Texas was home to famed movie cowboy and singer Tex Ritter, and is now headquarters of Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. Enter the Tex Ritter Museum through the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. The marquee hovers over displays of some of Tex Ritter's many costumes from his movie days.
Outside stands the larger than life bronze statue of Tex Ritter and his horse, White Flash. The Museum which tells the life story of Tex, one of America's most beloved cowboy figures, is composed of casework containing artifacts, photos, biographical information and a recreation of Tex's den.
