The county seat of Cass County where Texas' oldest continuously operating courthouse is located. The Greek Revival style brick structure was begun in 1860 and completed in 1865. Two-story gabled porches supported by four giant columns are on both the north and south sides of the building located on the picturesque downtown square. Linden is located 18 miles north of Jefferson on US 59.

Gateway to Caddo Lake, Wright Patman Reservoir and Lake O' the Pines. Historic CCC Camp Site, Annual Cass County Championship Rodeo at the Wildflower Festival. Located on U.S. Highway 59 half way between Marshall (I-20) and Texarkana (I-30).
